- Born in Raebreli, Uttar Pradesh, he fetched his BFA, MFA Degree from College of Arts & Crafts, Lucknow. Presently he is an Asst. Professor (Painting) in D. S. Post Graduate College, Aligarh and president, Art-Family Jafar has held 87 group & solo Exhibitions of his work in Jakarta (Indonesia), Seoul (South Korea) Bangkok (Thailand) and all the major Art Galleries of New Delhi; Lucknow; Mumbai; jaipur; Kolkata; Guwahati; Panji- Goa; Aligarh-U.P.; Amritsar; Nagpur; Chandigarh; Pune; Agra; Dharamshala-Shimla; and participated in Many UGC-Sponsored- National & International Workshop, Seminar & Art-camp across the country, several Articles published in various National and International Journals in India and abroad
